XieXie Taiwan!

 Last September 30, 2025, my brother, Lester, who is my constant travel buddy, travelled to Taipei, Taiwan for four days for a vacation. While on a plane going to Taipei, we met a Puerto Rican named Sergio. When we arrived at Taoyuan International Airport (Taipei), we had some bonding times with Sergio. When going to the hotel, we rode a bus going to Taipei Main Station which cost us around NTD 155 each with my brother.

We arrived at our hotel which is called Green World Hotel-Zhonghua @ around 7pm. The hotel has a great location since it is just in front of Ximending Night Market which is haven for good Taiwanese food and a shopping district. I can compare it to Binondo in Manila but Ximending is much better than Binondo.

Day 2

My brother and I went to Taipei Main Station for a meet up for our Klook tour @ 7:45 am for Shifen Waterfalls, Shifen Old Street, Jiufen Old Street and Yehliu Geopark.
Our first destination is Shifen Waterfalls which you have a great view of the waterfalls. 
Our second destination is Shifen Old Street where we had our wish and lantern flying. My wish is for good health, great wealth, protection from any danger and to find GREAT LOVE. HAHAHAA! 
Our third destination is Jiufen Old Street where there are a lot of teas being sold. 
Our last destination if the Yehliu Geopark which is stone formation.

After the Klook tour, we returned to the hotel and took a rest. We had our dinner @ Lao Shandong which is a Michelin restaurant that served Taiwan national dish which is Beef Noodle Soup which I think is my favorite Taiwanese food that I ate while in Taiwan. 

Day 3

We went to Taipei 101 buiding which used to be the tallest building in the world from 2004-2010. It is also the national landmark of Taiwan. After Taipei 101, we went to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial in Taipei which I think is like Luneta in Manila. After Chiang Kai Shek, we went to Ximending Night Market to buy pasalubong and did some shopping @ Net Fashion Store.

Day 4

Our last day in Taiwan and our flight going back to Manila. Our flight is @ 9:45 am so we just tour the airport. 

Our trip to Taiwan is above expectation. I am thinking of going back to Taiwan as soon as possible. I Love Taiwan. XieXie Taiwan.

 Last Jamuary 26, 2025, Sunday, my brother, Lester and I went to Iloilo City to attend the Dinagyang Festival, the provincial fiesta of Iloilo held annually during the 4th Sunday of January. This will be my first time to attend Dinagyang and 2nd time to attend a provincial fiesta after Penafrancia Festival in Naga in 1992. Our PAL flight is around 4 AM at NAIA Termnial 2. We arrived at the airport as early as 11 PM, Saturday. Bohol On My Mind

One of the 7107 islands of the Philippines that I will suggest visiting is BOHOL. Last May 2016, I had an opportunity to visit this island with my TaskUs friends, Takz and Seph. Our first visit in Bohol is in Panglao Island. We stayed on the beautiful beach resort called Henann Resort. I will highly recommend this resort because of its first class amenities and super sosyal experience. LOL! Aside from the beautiful Henann Resort, the waters of Panglao Island is world class. A lot of foreigners are also visiting this beautiful island. What differs Bohol from Boracay is that Bohol is more than just a beach place. There are lot of places to visit in Bohol. PALAWAN

  When I was in 4th year high school, I decided not to attend our 4th year high school student seminar in Palawan for the main reason that I was now looking forward for college life. It was one of the biggest regret when I was in high school. Since then I have not been to Palawan. But last March 2021, it changed. This is my first time and hopefully not the last to go to Palawan. At the same time, Palawan is my top Philippine destination for places that I have not been to. My dream to go to Palawan has been achieved.
