OH I LOVE CEBU!!!

Image
After Bohol, Takz (TaskUs colleague) and I decided to go to Cebu by ship. We decided to leave Bohol by 6 AM and arrived in Cebu at around 8 AM. We decided to go to Cebu by day tour which means we will be going back to Bohol from Cebu at the end of the day. Takz and I Plaza Independencia Our first stop in Cebu was   Plaza Indepedencia and Fort San Pedro. These places are more of historical places which houses a museum about the founding of Cebu and historical facts about Magelland and Lapu Lapu. After Fort San Pedro and Plaza Indepedencia, we decided to have lunch at SM Seaside. We ate in the famous Mang Inasal which I need to admit it was a regret since I want to try food that is only available in Cebu and not in Manila. But we are budget conscious so we decided to eat in Mang Inasal.  After lunch, we decided to go Magellan's Cross which is the most popular landmark of Cebu. A trip to Cebu is not complete without a trip to Magellan's Cross. Magellan's Cro

Bohol On My Mind

Image
One of the 7107 islands of the Philippines that I will suggest visiting is BOHOL. Last May 2016, I had an opportunity to visit this island with my TaskUs friends, Takz and Seph. Our first visit in Bohol is in Panglao Island. We stayed on the beautiful beach resort called Henann Resort. I will highly recommend this resort because of its first class amenities and super sosyal experience. LOL! Aside from the beautiful Henann Resort, the waters of Panglao Island is world class. A lot of foreigners are also visiting this beautiful island. What differs Bohol from Boracay is that Bohol is more than just a beach place. There are lot of places to visit in Bohol. One of the great places that I visited are Bee Farm, Baclayon Church, Chocolate Hills and the Tarsier.   For Filipinos, the reason for them to visit Bohol is because of the famous Chocolate Hills. In short, Bohol is synonymous to Chocolate Hills. But on my personal experience, what I LOVE

BALER

Last August 2016, we went for a five hour bus trip to BALER from Manila, not just to have a vacation but also to celebrate the birthday of my cute little sister. We stayed in an exclusive resort named Costa Pacifica which is I think the best resort in Baler. We are six in the group namely, Lester, Angela Faye (the birthday girl), Tito Jessie, Tita Nennette, Tita Baby and MYSELF. The Baler Group minus Lester Baler is known to be a surfing spot along with La Union and Siargao. Honestly, I do not know how to SWIM and SURF. I just swam around the swimming pool and the wonderful BEACH of Baler. Sand Surfing SEXY Me Aside from swimming and surfing, we also visited some historical places in Baler such as the house of Dona Aurora, the wife Don Manuel Quezon, and the Museo de Baler. What differentiate Baler compare from other surfing spots in the Philippines Museo de Baler Inside the Museo de Baler BALER such as La Union and Siargao is that it is more than a sur

ILOILO: CITY OF LOVE

Image
Being born and raised in Manila, many of the friends thought I am 100% Manila boy. In reality, I am actually a half Batangueno and half Ilonggo. In short, my father is from Batangas and my mother is from Iloilo. This blog is not about Batangas but Iloilo, my hometown in the Visayas region. When my mother passed away on June 2014 in Oton, Iloilo, my world crashed since I love my mother more than any girl on this world. After the passing of my mother, it gave me the opportunity to visit her hometown, ILOILO. My grandpa who used to be the Mayor of Igbaras On July 2015, I had my first opportunity to visit Iloilo after the death of my mother. Iloilo was above expectation. I fell in love with Iloilo. I told to myself that this will be my home in the Visayas region.  While my real hometown is in Igbaras, Iloilo, I stayed in Oton, Iloilo because most of my relatives live there and it is just an half an hour away from Iloilo City. I also visited Igbaras which is more than an hour awa
