Last September 30, 2025, my brother, Lester, who is my constant travel buddy, travelled to Taipei, Taiwan for four days for a vacation. While on a plane going to Taipei, we met a Puerto Rican named Sergio. When we arrived at Taoyuan International Airport (Taipei), we had some bonding times with Sergio. When going to the hotel, we rode a bus going to Taipei Main Station which cost us around NTD 155 each with my brother.  I, my brother, Lester, and Segio, the Puerto Rican we met at the plane going to Taipei  @ Taoyuan International Airport @ Taoyuan International Airport The Bus we rode going to Taipei Main Station.  We arrived at our hotel which is called Green World Hotel-Zhonghua @ around 7pm. The hotel has a great location since it is just in front of Ximending Night Market which is haven for good Taiwanese food and a shopping district. I can compare it to Binondo in Manila but Ximending is much better than Binondo. Ximending Night Market Day 2 My brother and I we...

PALAWAN

Image
When I was in 4th year high school, I decided not to attend our 4th year high school student seminar in Palawan for the main reason that I was now looking forward for college life. It was one of the biggest regret when I was in high school. Since then I have not been to Palawan. But last March 2021, it changed. This is my first time and hopefully not the last to go to Palawan. At the same time, Palawan is my top Philippine destination for places that I have not been to. My dream to go to Palawan has been achieved. I am with my cousin, Karlo, on this business with pleasure trip.  Day 1: Our first day in Palawan was spent in San Vicente, which is a developing island in Palawan. Our first day was spent on this beautiful island which is still less developed compare to El Nido and Coron but has the potential to become of the most beautiful island in the world.  While my cousin is busy doing business in San Vicente, I was busy swimming on the beach and enjoying the white sand...

I LOVE SINGAPORE!!!

Last August 2018, we were on a vacation trip in the beautiful country called Singapore. I am with my brother, Lester, on this vacation trip. Initially, we planned to go to Singapore last December 2017 but under some unforeseen circumstances, it did not push through. So FINALLY we were on our way to Singapore. We went to Singapore not just to look for good scenery and good food but also to look for CRAZY RICH ASIANS. Hahaha! Carlton City: The Hotel we are staying for five days Day 1: Our first day in Singapore was very tiring since we do not have enough sleep since me and my brother were very excited about the Singapore trip. When we arrived at the airport, we rode a taxi going to the hotel. It costs us SGD 27 taxi fare which is more or less than 1,000 pesos. That's so expensive. We slept when we went to the hotel. We woke up at night to have dinner in Wee Nam Kee which is in a Hawker center. The food in Wee Nam Kee is somewhat similar to the taste of Wee Nam Kee in Manila bu...

After Bohol, Takz (TaskUs colleague) and I decided to go to Cebu by ship. We decided to leave Bohol by 6 AM and arrived in Cebu at around 8 AM. We decided to go to Cebu by day tour which means we will be going back to Bohol from Cebu at the end of the day. Takz and I Plaza Independencia Our first stop in Cebu was   Plaza Indepedencia and Fort San Pedro. These places are more of historical places which houses a museum about the founding of Cebu and historical facts about Magelland and Lapu Lapu. After Fort San Pedro and Plaza Indepedencia, we decided to have lunch at SM Seaside. We ate in the famous Mang Inasal which I need to admit it was a regret since I want to try food that is only available in Cebu and not in Manila. But we are budget conscious so we decided to eat in Mang Inasal.  After lunch, we decided to go Magellan's Cross which is the most popular landmark of Cebu. A trip to Cebu is not complete without a trip to Magellan's Cross. Magellan's Cro...
